EXCELSO is an original coffee shop from Indonesia and a part of Kapal Api Group, the largest coffee producer in Indonesia . The first EXCELSO Café was opened in September 1991 in Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. EXCELSO has grown to become one of strong and recognized coffee shop brands in Indonesia. More than a decade later, it now becomes a chain with up to 80 stores in around 24 cities in Indonesia.

EXCELSO coffee is manufactured and distributed in its pure bean form to:
• Meet the coffee needs of the medium class and above
• Remove the image of mixed coffee (mix of coffee and corn)
• Ensure the coffee`s optimum quality is released just seconds before consumption when grinded and brewed.

At the time EXCELSO Cafe was specifically designed to market the brand and to create the right image for EXCELSO Coffee drinkers. Choosing to penetrate the medium class and above, EXCELSO Coffee can only be found in selected supermarkets and EXCELSO Café itself. As a café, EXCELSO Café Allows coffee lovers to walk in and enjoy the freshest coffee that`s brewed to order.
