The Halmahera Coffee story
Halmahera Coffee is a coffee roaster that was established in Jakarta in celebration of Indonesia's rich history in coffee. Since the Dutch colonial period, local coffee was grown and exported to the rest of the world, bringing our unique coffee taste to other international markets.

Hence the term "A cup of Java" was made famous.

Halmahera Coffee also brings you certain folklore in Morotai district in Halmahera Province. The folklore claims that there is a rock called "Coffee Rock / Batu Kopi" which gives out a coffee aroma everyday in the late afternoon. Just like in the folklore, we aim to give you the best coffee aroma everyday in your cup of coffee.

The Halmahera Coffee team has learnt its trade from one of Indonesia's pioneer roaster since the Dutch Colonial days. They have been around for more than 130 years in coffee roasting and we know we have learnt from the best. We can fine-tune our Arabica and Robusta beans according to our customer's taste and bringing out the best in Indonesian Arabica and Robusta. ANOMALI COFFEE

Established in 2007, Anomali Coffee is a coffee roaster company providing coffee with specialty standards from all over Indonesia. “Specialty” is the designation that ensures consistent premium quality of the coffee in your cup. Since then, Anomali Coffee has established itself as a prominent coffee producer specializing in freshly roasted coffee with the highest standard with the help of all key players in this journey from plantation to cup. Our coffee is destined for coffee connoisseurs and also for the Ho.Re.Ca. (Hotel, Restaurant and Café) sector, household and office consumption.

Freshness is absolutely everything in coffee tasting. All of our coffee is freshly roasted in our facility. Our production time starts two days before the desired delivery date. Once the coffee is roasted it will be quickly cooled and degassed and then packed in an air tight bag with one way valve to guaranty the freshness of the coffee. We can also do roasting profile customization to our preferred customers, this will ensure that the coffee they are serving met the targeted market segments according to our customers’ expectation.

Besides providing specialty coffee beans, we will also give intensive training to your Barista, to give them an understanding on how coffee should be treated professionally. Skill is very crucial in the coffee making process, high quality barista will make the best out of your coffee and guarantying your customers’ satisfaction.
